This month we are excited to spotlight our community partners Cortney Weir, Kimberly Spiegel, Jennifer Zuckerman, and Vlad Poston who serve at the Palm Desert office of the Alzheimer’s Association’s Southland Chapter.
The Alzheimer’s Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Their mission is to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
The Alzheimer’s Association has been serving the Coachella Valley for 20 years, with programs and services, education and outreach, care and support for local desert families. And for 20 years all these services have been offered completely FREE of charge thanks to the support from our community. They currently serve thousands of local families with Early Stage engagement programs, support groups, educational series and information and referral on a daily basis.
